Have you ever heard of box breathing?
It is a great way to begin your day when you are feeling kind of stressed. Trying really hard to keep it together and have the best time with my class. Six and a half days left with them.
We are crafting, playing and exploring. Keeping busy! They are all excited for Christmas and ask every day how many sleeps to go before Santa. I need to do a lot of ‘Santa’ shopping of my own….this year I will be doing it late.
so back to box breathing….visualise a square….breathe into the count of 4 imagining going up one side of the box. Hold for 4…along another side, out for 4 and hold another 4 until you have been around the whole square. Helps
