Matt from ‘Matts Maintenance’ is in today building the framework for the Man trap. Cracks me up that it’s called a man trap as it’s more about keeping the cats in than us out.
This is going to enable us to leave the big roller door up and let the air and sun into the Cattery during the day. Cats love the sun and having the fresh air into the building is great. The airconditioning is booked in but not before Christmas…..everyone wants it before Christmas!
Being north-facing and made of concrete is going to be great in winter, heating up in the afternoon and keeping warm over the night. Mind you being by the sea keeps everyone a few degrees warmer all times of the year.
After work tonight we are going to do a van run from home with all the food and bits that we have brought already, including some new cat towers and beds. Exciting stuff!
